Speaking of Yarn...

I had entered two skeins of handspun yarn in the Mid State Fair. One of them was a loose blend of white llama fiber and blue (indigo-dyed) Navajo-Churro wool, and the other was white Santa Cruz Island wool yarn. Both two-ply. The SCI yarn won a first place! The judge wrote, "Nice work."

There they both are - the SCI yarn is all white, of course. Funnily, about the llama/wool blend, the judge's comment was "Consistent spinning would go a long way toward making this yarn usable." Does that mean I should throw it away as unusable? No intention of doing that. Has she/he never heard of "art yarn?" Lol!
