If you are in the San Miguel, Paso Robles, or Bradley, California area this Saturday, September 27, stop in the Rios Caledonia Adobe between 10 am and 4 pm for the Caledonia Days Event. This beautiful, historic landmark is well worth seeing any weekend. It is beautiful, nicely maintained, and is surrounded by beautiful grounds. A very nice piece of California history.

The theme of this Saturday's event is "Bygone Ways of Bygone Days" to illustrate the historical significance of how things were done in the past.

Lynn will be there spinning yarn from our homegrown wool, also dye-ing wool with juniper and maybe indigo, maybe oak galls. There should be other artists and crafters there too, and cooking demonstrations using Dutch ovens.

The address of the Rios Caledonia Adobe is 700 S. Mission Street, San Miguel, and it is a little south of and across Mission St. from the Mission San Miguel - another historic and beautiful attraction in San Miguel.
