I'm just getting around to posting these, but here are some sheep brought in to graze the neighbors-down-the-canyon's alfalfa fields, in late December. I've been trying to figure out what kind they are and my best guess is that they are maybe Romeldale and crosses. Much bigger than our Santa Cruz Island sheep. Lots of pretty lambs. Frost in the foreground (in the shade) of the middle photo. Although most of our neighbors raise cattle, this is good sheep country too.
